Help Indonesian children practise English
We are looking for kind, patient adults to be tutors and English-speaking practice partners for children aged 6 to 18. Children's safety comes first, so every tutor is checked and approved by hand before meeting any child.
How it works
- Fill in this form. It takes about 10 minutes.
- We contact you for a short video interview and to see your photo ID.
- You send a police check: SKCK in Indonesia, a Working With Children Check or Blue Card in Australia, or your country's equivalent.
- We speak to your two referees.
- You complete our short child-safety training and agree to the code of conduct.
- Only then can a parent choose you. Sessions are booked through the app and parents can see them.
Code of conduct
- Only meet children through the app, at times the parent agreed. Never by phone, social media or in person.
- Never ask for or share personal details, photos, addresses or money.
- Never record a session or take screenshots.
- Keep every session about learning, with kind and respectful words, in line with the family's values.
- If a child tells you they are unsafe, follow our safeguarding steps and tell us the same day.
- We can end your approval at any time if any rule is broken.
